After some feedback that I got at the weekend I thought it was worth making a quick note in here about the nature of business. There is no business that you can get into with guaranteed results, and as far as I know there is no business that can guarantee results with no risk, and no hard work.

The idea of this site is to encourage you to have a go at starting your own business by removing the barriers that we all like  to throw in the way. If you see an idea here that you like, and you realise that it can be started with little or no capital investment then the only thing standing  in your way is hard work.

I'm sorry that I can't remove that aspect for you. If I could then I would not turn up to work every day between the hours of 8am and 6pm, and certainly wouldn't have ploughed so much time into the website.

I seriously hope that you, or someone you know will benefit from what I write, but if you decide to have a go do so with your eyes open. Think of your time and effort as your investment, if it is all you risk then surely that is a good deal?
