Searched forums, but found nothing dealing with these issues. Just purchased a 2005 Altima 2.5 as an extra car for my kids.
Drove the car home with AC (blows super cold - yay). But when I turned off the AC (AC button off - not lit), it still blew COLD air. Made sure it was not on MAX AC, was not on recirculate, was not on any defrost setting. It was blowing thru the main passenger vents. The only way to dial down the cold was using the actual temp control dial. BTW, it was 90 degrees outside, so it wasn't just already cold outside air.
