I just wanted a quick sanity check here. I bought and returned a diesel car tuning box within 14 days after receiving it having never fitted it because I could not get the damn rail sensor disconnected.
They should have issued a refund within 14 days according to "Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013" legislation, but I got a refund less a £10 charge over 40 days later!
Reading the regs, I'm very confident they can't charge £10 for "postage and packaging". I'd go as far as saying that's illegal. I paid for the unit to be returned special delivery and it was returned with 14 days.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
